Second Mistake : When you think you know everything.
I chose Ironman China thinking it would be easier to get the slot to Hawaii. 30 days before the race, the organization cancels the race for polution problems on the swim course. Quickly they offer different races to all athletes. I chose Korea because is the closest race on the schedule. For all of you out there, races in Asia are extremely hot and humid. Of course I didn’t know it. Time difference, the lost of my passport in Seul, didn’t help much… Rain, humidity and a very hilly bike and marathon course. Result : Disaster
